NOTE: At the end of this post, there is an extra-special PDF just for you!
November is here, yet again! If you’ve been following me on Instagram for a while, you may remember a little challenge I created & introduced last year, #thirtydaythanksgiving . If you don’t know about it, or just would like a little refresher course on it, read on! The Thirty Day Thanksgiving Challenge is designed to get you into the habit of thanking God for everything He has blessed you with, & not only what He has blessed you with, but also everything that He has protected you from, as well as everything that He has done in your life.
Thanksgiving (I’m talking about the action of giving thanks, not the actual holiday) to God takes your eyes off yourself & what you feel you’ve accomplished on your own & turns you around, putting the focus back on God, where it should have been all along. It’s easy to focus on the things we don’t have currently, whether it be a relationship with someone, the job of your dreams, or financial stability, but taking a step back & realizing all that God already HAS blessed you with will cause you to see that if He has provided THAT much for you already, without you even expecting it, imagine how much more He will continue to provide you with the things that your heart desires. The whole point of this “challenge” is to get you in tune with God’s abundant provision, & in that provision, the overwhelming graciousness of God. This challenge lasts from November 1st until November 30th, but I strongly encourage you to keep going even after the initial thirty days, because when this month is over, you’ll see a transformation in your life. You’ll start noticing even the seemingly tiniest ways that God blesses you, & instead of thinking “oh, what luck!”, you’ll say, “God, thank you for Your favor!!” Throughout the duration of this month, I challenge you to thank God for AT LEAST one thing every day, if not more. I also encourage you to write these things down, on a list or on sticky notes, & at the end of the month, post a picture of your list, or put all your sticky notes up on a wall & take a picture! I may even post a picture of my list & share it as well! I also would love to see your photos, so be sure to hashtag them to #ThirtyDayThanksgiving ! Throughout the month, you can also post pictures of things you are thankful for (using the hashtag, of course!!), & you can also scroll through all the photos under the hashtag to see what others are thankful for, & to find inspiration. To kick off this challenge, Comment at least one of the following (either on here, Instagram, or both!) that you are thankful for:
⠀
A: Someone / something for which you are thankful.
⠀
B: A person who has had a positive impact on your life.
⠀
C: A short, encouraging message to someone who needs one.
⠀
Blessings!!

Remember how I said I had a printable guide to use throughout the month? Well, here it is!
